POSITION TITLE: Plumbing Apprentice
REPORTS TO: Plumbing Manager (Master Plumber)
PAY RANGE: $17-$25/Hour

Here’s what you’ll do:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:*
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist Journeyman or Master Plumbers with the repair and replacement of residential plumbing, including showers, tubs, sinks, toilets, , sump pumps and water heaters
- Assist Journeyman or Master Plumbers with the diagnosis and troubleshooting of plumbing malfunctions and repair or maintenance needs.
- Haul equipment to and from the worksite from the work truck
- Take inventory and track how many materials are used for each job
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Follow instructions and training from senior plumbers.
TRAINING, SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Note: Plumbing trade school is not required.
- Current valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both oral and written communications
- Great communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to use tools of the trade
- Willingness to work in all types of weather
- Must have a positive attitude, be a team player
